Here at Natura we’ve worked with Express Information Systems for over 27 years. I met Iris just as she was getting her company off the ground. We were both very young in our in our mid 20s at the time. She was really a pioneer in working in this whole area of ERP and software development and we needed some solutions for our business. Natura was founded in 1983. I believe Iris’s company in 89 so we had some early infancy solutions but once we got into the early 90s we really needed to take it a step further and brought in Iris and this product of Great Plains software. It was really a great solution for us. We needed to be more cohesive with our accounts payable, receivables management of customers, and that type of thing. Turns out we needed to take our business in other direction so over the tenure we went with Dynamics Great Plains acquired by Microsoft at that point it’s a little bit of a name change on that product but what’s been great is the tenure of their staff even going through different iterations of products and solutions the staff has always been there for us. In particular Dianne Ferris has been one that has helped me over the years with very specific reports that we needed, written things we needed to look at, metrics and KPIs and we’re really integrating their product with a product for our industries. We’re using the Dynamics Great Plains software along with service manager which is another platform industry specific to the horticultural industry but by their expertise and blending the two databases pulling reports that are meaningful to us. It’s really been a wonderful relationship.
